The Cancer Camp
Is it a camp? Is it a battlefield? Is it a tug of war?
Some will say 'this is good for you' whilst others will say that same thing is 'bad for you'...
Who do you trust?
Who do you believe?
Which camp do you choose?
Or shall we just find our own way?
Shall we try to find the middle way, the middle ground?
Shall we aim to Find the Middle Road?
It doesn't take a long search, when you look up cancer, to find words like fear, battle, war, beat it, the fight on cancer... the list goes on...
But does it have to be a war? Do we need to enter into a battle field? If so, who are we at war with? With cancer?
In very simplistic terms, what is cancer if not the cells in our own body going rogue for some reason, metastasizing, misbehaving... ?!
But.... could they be trying to tell us something? Why are we at war with our bodies? Could our bodies be at war with ourselves and the environment around us?
Who is right?
Who is wrong?
Who shall I listen to?
Arghhhhh! 😩
What do I know about cancer?
After over 2 years on the Cholangio Journey, I have aquired some knowledge of what worked for me, what did not work, or maybe it did work and I don't know it.
In fact, all I know is that I don't seem to know anything at all 🤷🏻♀️ or as Socrates beautifully said: I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing!
There is a confusing, conflicting world of information out there, ohhh that I know!!!
You would think that by having access to all this information one would be better equipped to make decisions but in fact, I found myself getting lost, further and further adrift... not knowing where to turn or which path to take...
